On SATURDAY 19th of SEPTEMBER we are proud to announce that’ll we’ll be
bringing to our fair city The Hague’s electro-funk apostle and champion
of the new Italo sound… Mr Pauli.
Now unless you’ve been living under a rock (Dumbarton) for the past
decade or more, you’ll have come across Pauli in one form or another.
Whether it’s the electro synth pop sound of NOVAMEN with DJ Overdose,
the electro-funk Prince, Zapp and Cameo inspired beats and lines of
Bumper with Geoff T or the monster dancefloor, Italo tinged riffs on
Clone and Moustache records of his current moniker.
Pauli has prolifically delivered slab after slab of feet pleasing
tunage and if SATISTFACTION isn’t guaranteed then we DON’T WANT TO BE
YOU. If you didn’t get that rubbish joke you might want to go
here to download a brilliant Mr Pauli live set from last year.
Due to unforeseen circumstances at our current home of Pivo, we will be
moving just round the corner to Ad-Lib on Hope Street for this event.
Joining us at Ad-Lib are friends old and new - Eclair Fi Fi from Lucky
Me and Andrew Ingram of Slabs of The Tabernacle. On Hand from Pest
Control are dommm and The Wasp.
Mr and Mrs Pest Control would also like to cordially invite you to this
event to celebrate the 30th birthday of their ugliest child… Scott
Theory.
